WERNER JORDAAN - CONSULTANT

Werner is employed at Cyanre as a consultant where he supports the senior forensic experts in computer evidence management and investigations. Having started his career with SAB&T in their accounting department in 2002 he was soon afforded the opportunity to join their external and internal audit department where he gained valuable experience in audit assignments in a wide variety of corporate and government institutions.

Rising through the ranks in the auditing field, the opportunity to be appointed to a forensic team opened a door to extend his experience as a forensic consultant. He has undertaken investigations into the wider scope of Government Departments gaining valued understanding of compliance, compliance auditing and the legislation governing financial integrity within government departments. His exposure to various types of auditing and financial fraud, including procurement and tender fraud and his exposure to forensic fraud investigation has prepared him well. Training in Analyst Notebook and ACL coupled with his auditing and accounting skill make him a competent member of the Cyanre forensic team. He is also an affiliate member of South African Chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
