OUR QUALIFICATIONS
Our employees are globally recognized computer forensic experts and have advanced degrees and qualifications in Computer Science, Applied Hacking, Computer Crime Investigations, and Counter Hacking. Our certifications include: A+ Hardware and Software, CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate), CCNA - Voice, EnCE, Forensic Tool Kit (FTK), INet +, N+, Redhat Linux, and SCERS.
OUR EXPERIENCE
To date personnel of Cyanre has faced five third party experts and have never lost a case in court. Cyanre personnel have testified in 4 High Court Cases, 20-30 Regional and Magistrate courts and countless departmental hearings. Cyanre’s staff experience includes conducting successful investigations in co-operation with international law enforcement bodies in countries such as Nigeria, Namibia, Kenya, Lesotho, Swaziland, Botswana and Zimbabwe.
LECTURING AND PUBLICATIONS
Danny Myburgh of Cyanre wrote the internal training manual for all SAPS members on how to manage and investigate a crime involving computers and also wrote the training manual on computer crime investigation for Technikon SA for their National Diploma, Police Administration. This manual was also utilized for training by the Scorpions. Cyanre is also interviewed regularly during television programs and media publications. Cyanre gives training to all state Prosecutors and magistrates on electronic evidence and cyber crime.
TRAINING RECEIVED
Our employees have received training from internationally accredited institutions including inter alia: Ernst and Young in Counter Hacking, the US Federal Bureau of Investigation and the French Police in Cyber Crime Analysis, the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, and the South African Police Service in Cyber Crime Investigation and Detective Skills, and Cellebrite in Mobile Forensics.
